"St. Joseph School Alumni Join Forces for Annual Feed the Hungry Drive-Thru Event"
December 2, 2024
In collaboration with Lex Brodie's, the Hawaii Island Home for Recovery, and St. Joseph School, the annual Feed the Hungry Drive-Thru event took place on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the front gates of St. Joseph School. The event provided meals to over 775 people just one day before Thanksgiving.
These stewards of the Gospel saw the faces of those in need and shared moments of genuine gratitude, reflecting the true spirit of the season. We are extremely proud of our alumni 'ohana for demonstrating the spirit of aloha and generosity to our community in the spirit of Thanksgiving on behalf of St. Joseph School and the Catholic Church.
Khallie Noeau, Student Council President and senior, can be seen giving a hot meal to the first truck. Axel Reid of the senior class can also be seen serving a hot meal to the next car. Mark Low (SJS '94) wishing our participant a Happy Thanksgiving.

Mark Low (SJS '94), Meghan Nakamura (SJS '21), and this year's remarkable seniors, SJS '25, exemplified their stewardship as missionary disciples. (Captured by Mrs. Villena)
Antia Tatum (SJS '80), Michael Tallet (SJS '81), and Josh Porter (SJS '96) — not pictured — served as the chairpersons and sponsors of the event.
A special shout out to Mr. Costales and Mrs. Villena for assisting with the event planning and execution. We would especially like to thank Lex Brodies for sponsoring and coordinating this event.
Go Cardinals!
