Junior Class Earns Prestigious Scholarship Awards
May 25, 2026
Each year, juniors at St. Joseph School have the opportunity to compete for scholarships that help offset the cost of senior year tuition while recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to the school community. This year, several students were honored through both school-based and statewide scholarship programs.
Among the most meaningful traditions at St. Joseph School are two long-standing scholarships awarded exclusively to members of the junior class. The Rebecca Marie Forbes Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of a former St. Joseph School graduate, while the Adele C. Lyman Memorial Scholarship recognizes the dedication and service of a beloved longtime SJS staff member.
This year’s recipient of the Rebecca Marie Forbes Memorial Scholarship was Ammaron Noeau. In addition, Ammaron Noeau, Olga Arianoff, and Goretti Allen were awarded the Adele C. Lyman Memorial Scholarship to support their tuition during senior year.
St. Joseph School juniors are also eligible to apply for diocesan-wide scholarships through the Augustine Educational Foundation (AEF), a highly competitive statewide program that recognizes outstanding students across Hawaiʻi Catholic schools. This year, Olga Arianoff and Ammaron Noeau were selected as nominees for the prestigious AEF Scholars Program. Nominees were required to complete both a written essay and video submission as part of the rigorous application process.
Ammaron earned first place statewide, receiving a $4,000 tuition scholarship, while Olga was recognized as one of only ten finalists statewide and received a $1,000 tuition scholarship.
Congratulations to all of our junior scholarship recipients for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding accomplishments. St. Joseph School is proud of your achievements and looks forward to all you will accomplish in your senior year and beyond!
